My Favorite Olympic Moment(saowanee)

Shawn Machel Johnson is an amarican gymnast was born on january 19 , 1992 in Des Moines, IA.She is amazing, In her first year as a senior competiton she won all around at the america cup, Pan-American Games, US National Championships and World Championships.

I know her from watching 2008 olympic team in china.she completed in all four events during the team competition in which the united state won the silver medal. shawn johnson also won the silver medal in the individual all around competition She won the silver medal in floor exercise, with teammate Liukin taking bronze. everybody agree she is a great and amazing gymnast.

In my opinion she is just 17 years old but she has big skill.she only trained 20-25 hours a week when preparing for the Olympics and other major competitions. Most elites spend closer to 40 hours in the gym each week it means that she got the great talent

Yunlan Fan : The Great Olympic Moments In My Mind

Olympic Game is great. It always encourages people to try their best in his career or in his life.
I liked to watch on TV when the Olympic Games were holding. In my mind, the great Olympic moments are Chinese gymnast Li Ning won the medals on the stage of Olympic Games. Li Ning is a famous Chinese gymnast and entrepreneur. Li is most famous for winning 6 medals at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, including 3 gold medals (in floor exercise, pommel horse, and rings), 2 silver medals, and a bronze medal. In 1982, he won six of the seven medals awarded at the Sixth World Cup Gymnastic Competition, earning him the title "Prince of gymnastics". Every time when he won the medals, my heart beat was going fast. Every action of him was perfect. Every action he finished, everyone cheered for him. According to his great achievments, he won his another name "Prince of gymnastics". After he won the Olympic medals, he continued his gymnastics career. The country needs him, the people need him. When he retired, he opened his company to do the sports clothes. He did his business very well. His company is also famous in his country. Now he becomes a famous entrepreneur.
I was motivated by his never giving up and did every thing to his best. His success encourages me to learn hard, work hard, and try to do my best in my life.

Great Olympic Moments (Atikan)

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast. She is winner of three Olympic gold medals at the 1976 Summer Olympics and the first ever gymnast to be awarded a perfect score of 10 in the uneven-bars event. She is one of the best-known gymnasts in the world.

I pick her because She is unbelivable and amazing. She was 14 years old when she won. And she was young but she did it. She was trained very hard. When I read her story I feel good and it inspires me to make something better out of myself. So, today when I go back home I'm gonna watch her competition in youtube.

I think She is an example for people to reach their goals and shows that nothing is impossible as long as you work hard to do it. She was the best Gymnast ever.
