Look back on our summur course, I like reading everything about Olympics. I learned a lot of Olympics things. I know what is a challenge. I have my favorite things about Olympics.
Olympic Game is the greatest sport event of the world. It has a great history. Every athlete wants to take part in the Olympic Games. People are looking forward to watch every Olympic Game. So I like to read everything about Olympics.
I learned a lot of Olympics things. I knew many famous athletes, they are the sport starts. I knew many host countries, host cities in the world, they are also famous by the Olympics. I knew many famous Olympics Events, they are famous too.
The most important thing of Olympics is "Challenge". It is a challenge of the athletes in the Olympic Games themselves. The challenge is not only about his body's limit, but also about his spirit. It is a challenge about athlete himself. If the athlete wins himself, he wins the Olympic Games.
My favorite is the greatest Olympics Moments. The greatest Olympics Moments are created by the greatest athletes. In order to do their best in the Olympic Games, they prepared very hard. They prepared every day, they payed all of their attetions on their sports. They strived on the Olympics. When they show their great achievements in the Olympic Games, they bring the great enjoyments to the people of all the worlds. At the same time, they show the great Olympics' spirit to the people: challenge to yourself, do the best of yourself, never give up, to be an honest person to yourself. It is an honor to win the Olympic Games. It is an honor to win yourself. They created the greatest Olympic Games history. People will remeber them. People will learn from them. People will learn the Olympics' spirit. People will learn how to challenge to themselves. People will learn how to challenge in their lives.

What I enjoyed reading most are greatest Olympics Moments.
The greatest Olympics Moments are the best achievements of Olympics. They are the results of athletes hardworking. In order to do the best in the Olympics, they prepared very hard, and they did very well in the Olympic Games. People enjoyed what they were doing. People learned the great Olympics' spirit from them.

Olympic Games are exciting. But not all of them are fun. Some athletes in order to gain the metals, they did the not honest things. Such as they took the drug. If the Olympics officers did not find the secrets in the test, these athletes got the metals unhonestly. These things are not fun.
Olympic Games are world wide events. It's spirit is honest and do the best. If somenoe did the unhonest things, they were not fit to take part in this Games. People respect the honest athletes. Even they did not gain the metals,but they remained Olympics' spirit. People respect them.
I hope there will be no unhonest things happen in the Olympic Games again. I hope every athlete in the Olympic Games is real honest person. Then they can bring the real Olympic Games to the people in the world. People can learn the good things from them.

Not fun in the olympics game
If we talk about the olympics everybody might be think about sport,games,fun,medals or the big beautiful field. In the other hand the olympics are big,noisy,pushy and inconvenient for people who work in a hurry time. They got traffic jams and rubbish from visitor. In some country people got tax increase and lose their homes for olympics-related development. In addition when visitor came we can't take care all of them so that become a disruption. London won the rignt to host the 2012 Olympic games. It was not easy. London won Paris by 54 votes to 50. It was breathtakingly close: just four votes edged London past Paris in a secret electronic ballot of the International Olympic Committee.
In an IOC evaluation report before, London was ranked third in the race by the IOC Working Group, behind Paris and Madrid and its transport system was castigated as "obsolete". The London team improved its bid and assuaged concerns about transport and then got a much better write-up in a subsequent IOC evaluation report.
Before the final result, things can be transformed. If you want to change the current situation, you should work hard on it, then you can make improvement, and you can see things turn to better. This is something we can learn from London team.

"Do your best .Win there are no medals in second place". it true that everyone has different ability. many athlete migfht lost in compatition because they fight with some athlete that smarter,stronger or faster. who was lost do not got any madol but they do the best as they can and overcome their mind.
what we got for this project
Doing a Chicago Olympics project that much fun than we think. The first time we know about project we was so exciting and nervous.We used to watched a lot about sport, but we do not pay much attention just watching for fun. since we do this summer project we read many kind of articles such as athletes biographies and Olympic histories. We are enjoy reading those articles and have fun creating our blog.We are prepare enough for ourselves . Next time we are watching Olympics that not just for fun we are already lots of that story.

We are a good candidate for the Olympics. Because the city Chicago is so wonderful. It is not only beautiful, but it also advanced for everything.

The four candidates all have the possibilities of hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics before the final election. These four candidates are: Chicago, Tokyo, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro. Compare all the cities, I think Chicago is the best city of hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Tokyo and Madrid earned the top technical scores during the application phase and are highly recognised national capitals, which lends an increased competitive interest to the final bidding phase.
If the Summer Games return to the Americas (for the first time in 20 years), Chicago and Rio de Janeiro have an edge; Rio would become the first South American city to host the Olympics.
Tokyo is touting "the most compact and efficient Olympic Games ever" with a dramatic setting on the shores of Tokyo Bay.
Madrid benefits from its strong reputation from the 2012 bid as well as having 85% of venues in place and many experiences hosting Olympic qualifying events. Recent plans have stressed two clusters of venues, one on the east side, the other along the Manzanares River.
Rio de Janeiro is planning to perform all the competitions inside the city, bringing dynamics to the games and facilitating the athlete's interaction.
Chicago has an extensive public transit system, a wide range of venues, and a strong sports culture. The planned dramatic setting for Olympics on the shores of Lake Michigan, as well as the entirely urban experience are positive factors. Chicago is one of few cities in the United States to host professional men and women's hockey, baseball, basketball, soccer, and American football teams. Another possible benefit is the city's central location in the United States, since the Central Time Zone is well-suited to the North American television coverage for television networks and cable broadcasting, which in turn benefits NBC, the media company which pays the highest broadcasting rights to the IOC. Plans include a temporary Olympic Stadium in Washington Park on the city's South Side, a swimming venue on the West Side, and a number of events at McCormick Place convention center and the lakeshore as well as the Olympic Village just south of the Loop. However, soaring demolition costs to the hospital currently on the site may require a new site for the village. 22 of the 27 Olympic venues will be in four clusters within 15 km of the Olympic Village. Five new venues and eleven temporary venues will be built for the games. The bid is being promoted by Chicago-based media mogul Oprah Winfrey and Olympic champion Michael Phelps. Chicago is reported to be the strongest contender in terms of infrastructure, support, and money.

It's difficult for me to decide which cities are the best choice because I never go Spain, Japan and Brasil. But when I read about the Olympics I still pick Chicago.
The first reason why I pick Chicago: I think people in Chicago are friendlier than other cities because Chicago has millions of visitors to the city each year and they know how to take care of their visitors. I know the other cities have many visitors too, but Chicago has national variation and people from every corner of the world.
The second reason, I think other cities (except Chicago) may be have problem about communication (language) because the other cities use native language but Chicago uses the English Language and English Language is the central language in the world.
